'Bachelorette' Star Rachel Lindsay and Husband Bryan Abasolo Split After 4 Years of Marriage |

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are calling it quits. The former couple, who met and became engaged on The Bachelorette during the show's 13th season in 2017, have been married for four years.

According to court docs obtained by ET, Abasolo filed the divorce papers and is requesting spousal support. He lists the date of separation as Dec. 31, 2023 and claims their North Hollywood, California home as community property.

The duo married on Aug. 24, 2019 with a destination wedding in Mexico. They do not have any children.

On Tuesday, Abasolo addressed the breakup with a statement on social media.

"If you've been following me for a while, you know I don't like to put my personal affairs on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family," he wrote. "Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I'm a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps."

He signed the note, "Respectfully, Bryan."

Lindsay and Abasolo's separation comes just one month after they stepped out together in support of Project Angel Food's Thanksgiving event. The reality stars were all smiles as they posed together on the red carpet with their arms wrapped around one another.

In early November, they appeared similarly happy as they attended the Alzheimer's Association Peace of Mind Luncheon in Beverly Hills, California.

While Lindsay, 38, and Abasolo, 43, began their relationship as a long distance couple, the latter made the move from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California in 2021 to live together.

"We have a new house, we have our dogs, we have everything we could ask for and kids definitely coming in the future," Abasolo told ET in 2022. "We're just loving life right now."

He added, "The bicoastal thing was not going to work long term."

News of the split also comes on the heels of Lindsay's most recent interview on Nick Viall's The Viall Files podcast, in which she said that she and Abasolo were "in two totally different places" when it came to their lives and careers.
