After 102 episodes as Nancy Botwin—and a 2006 Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical—Parker went on to guest star on The Blacklist, Billions and Mr. Mercedes. She also starred in 2017's When We Rise, ABC's critically acclaimed LGBTQ+ miniseries.
Parker, 56, released her memoir Dear. Mr. You in 2015, which went on to become a New York Times bestseller. She's set to make her return to Broadway in a revival of How I Learned to Drive, reprising her role from the original 1997 production.
She has two children: her 16-year-old son William Atticus Parker, with her ex Billy Crudup, and daughter Caroline Aberash Parker, adopted from Ethiopia in 2007.
